JA Rocky Mountain Launches New Web Site
Today, JA Rocky Mountain unveiled its new Web site, which is sure to provide a wealth of information for all JA supporters - including investors, volunteers, teachers, and students. The new site features a fresh design and new interactive functionality, including Discussion Forums and a weekly JA Blog. The Discussion Forums provide JA volunteers and teachers with an opportunity to exchange ideas, from best practices to teaching tips. For the first time, volunteers and teachers will have an easy and fun way to share information and stories about the classroom experience. The JA Blog is a great source for up-to-the-minute news and information about Junior Achievement, including recent events, JA in the news, and other current happenings.
We'd like invite you to get involved in JA's online community by visiting the new forums and sharing your best classroom experience. We ask that you register before posting your story, but the registration process is quick and please be assured that we will not share any of your contact information with outside parties.
Many thanks to the Bonfils-Stanton Foundation for their support of the JA Web site redesign project. Please take a moment to check out our new site at www.jacolorado.org.

JA Volunteers Make a Difference Every Day
In August, Keith Jones, a JA volunteer with the DPS Summer Academy, made a promise to a group of Montbello High School students. He promised to stay with them until they graduate from Montbello in 2011. On Tuesday October 16th, Keith showed these students that he intends to keep that promise. A seasoned chef, Keith hosted a fabulous meal for the students at Roth Distributing Company in Aurora as a way of showing the kids how much he cares about their future. Thank you, Keith, for making a difference!
Another DPS Summer Academy JA volunteer, Christina Martinez, has gone above and beyond for the students. In addition to donating her time and effort at the Summer Academy, Christina has also donated much-needed school supplies to both Lake and Kunsmiller Middle Schools. Thank you, Christina, for making a difference!
